The Institute offers various B.Tech, B.Pharm, MBA, MCA programmes.Among
the already existing disciplines the Civil Engineering and Chemical Engg are relatively new and have been introduced for the last one year.
The Civil Engg has become quite popular in context with the present day scenario of infrastructure development and emphasis on all-round
construction both in public and private sector.The course curriculum therefore provides practice of designing of different structures including multistoried
buildings, bridges, piles, and well foundations; ecofreindly highways, metros, overhead water tanks, dams, airports and runways, water supply and sewerage,environmental and pollution problems.
Digital solution to the different problems is also need of the hour.
In addition to the above a time has come for global
economies which need to be addressed to by the exerpts of international banking and having managerial skills.
Thus we look forward to introduce the technological competence and soft skills among our students to enable them to face the global challenges
at par excellence and endeavour to make them better citizens with social responsibility.
Profile
Prof. M. L. Sadana, did
B.E.(Civil) in 1966 and M.E.(Civil) Hons in 1968 from Roorkee University and Ph.D.in 1978 from Institute of Tech., BHU, Varanasi.
He was
Post-doctoral
Fellow at McGill Univ.,Canada for four years(1980-1984) and visiting Professor for two years under the UNDP programme(1991-1993) .
He worked as Lecturer, Reader,
Professor and Head of Civil Engg. Dept. in BHU Varanasi and retired in 2005.
He was previously HOD, member of
board of Examiners, policy & planning committee, BHU, Varanasi.
He was member of National Board of Accreditation.He was Senator of
University of Roorkee.He was
expert member of U.P.S.C.He is also associated with framing of
proposal for Deemed University.Before Joining BIT he was Director of SRMS-CET Bareilly.
He joined this institute in April 2008 as Director(Academics) and Prof. & Head of Civil Engineering Dept.
