Profile
Prof. R. L.
Khosa is an eminent scholar in Pharmaceutical Technology, having
done his M. Pharm and Ph.D from BHU Varanasi. He worked as
founder Director of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology,
MIET, Meerut affiliated to UPTU Lucknow. He served Banaras Hindu
University, for our 37 years where he was Professor & Head of
Department of Pharmaceutics, Institute of Technology.
He supervised
several Ph.D, M. Pharm and WHO sponsored projects; published
over 150 research papers in Indian and Foreign Journals;
presented 40 research papers in Scientific Conferences;
delivered key note address in Conference on Indian Medicine BHU
(1984); received best paper awards from True Food Corporation,
Poona (1973) and Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (1990); an
active member of several academic, administrative and research
bodies of various organizations and universities; member
American and Indian Societies of Pharmacognosy and Society for
Research on Drugs & Hormones.
He has been the
member Academic council of UPTU Lucknow and currently is the
convener of the RDC (Pharmacy) of this University.
