After Liberalization,
Privatization and Globalization the competition among corporate
groups and industries have increased manifold. The present day
competitive environment has thrown the serious challenges before
the business entities. Competition is tough and will remain so
in the future as well. We have to accept this fact and be
prepared to meet these challenges.
It is our endeavor to produce
professionals who can meet these challenges. We believe in ‘Team
Work’ and strive to generate a challenging and professional work
environment. In addition to academic curriculum, we focus on
personality development and communication skills of our students
and build a sound mind for their intellectual growth. We
inculcate a sense of high values and prepare them to meet the
challenges of life.
Profile
Prof. D. K. Matta, a university
gold medalist, joined the Indian Armed Forces in the Electronics
and Mechanical Engineers Corps in 1975 as a Technical Graduate
in the Electronics stream after completing his M.Tech Program
from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.
During the commissioned service
of approximately three decades, he has held varied appointments
while serving in the field as well as static units, hence has
vast experience of administrative and technical field to his
credit. While serving in Army, he has done number management
and technical courses in the field of electronics and was
sponsored for MBA course which he did with Distinction in 1997
from Institute of Management Studies, Indore. Later, he did Ph.D
in Management in 2001 from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore.
Prof. Matta took –up academic
pursuit as Director IIMT Engineering College, Meerut soon after
his supernnuation on 31 Oct 2003 and served till 31 Jan 2006. He
joined B.I.T. , Meerut, for the present assignments w.e.f.
01Feb 2006.
He is a Member of Institution of
Engineers, Calcutta and Fellow Member of Institute of
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, New Delhi.
